Talking of health etc, there is a really good healthy replacement for sugar now called "Agave Nectar" made from same plant that produces tequila. It is also good, apparently, for keeping weight down but in a good way. Can get it now from Waitrose,Sainsburys,Tescos and Hello (You can read all about it on their website) . They also do CoolOil which is Omega 3,6 and 9.

well done! You did it from running and watching what you eat?

Jogging a couple of times a week and changing what I ate to something more sensible, yes. This week was the first time I went jogging in about two months. I think start of September I went swimming once and that was the last time I exercised so weight loss slowed down since.

I'm back jogging a couple of times a week now, it's a lot easier, more like running, still aint done the three miles I used to though, hopefully will next week - six laps of the local park every other day or four.

Well done Lee! Reminds we I must get around to developing Lose Weight UK! I recommend you try and keep up with the swimming - you really can't beat it for all round exercise. Well done!!!

It's been surprisingly easy to be honest.

Easy in that I haven't had to do much past eating properly and the odd bit of walking and jogging. That's all it took in the main, maybe a bit of will power and yes nibbling is hard to cut out and getting up to go out so you're not embarrassed or hassled when jogging is another one to get over and the sleeping pattern when exercising is a bugger hence why I'm up late again.

I did break a weighing machine on purpose but since I stopped smoking my temper has been a lot more controllable anyway, I still nibble, still don't exercise like I should or I think by now I'd be eleven and a half stone, I've pretty much taken six weeks off and still lost weight.

I didn't used to eat a lot, just had burgers, chips and big meals, I used to drink every match every weekend but I don't believe that was a problem - maybe it was socially - and I used to sit at the pc all day long without ever doing an imitation walk to work, if anybody thinks that sounds familiar and they're obese, as I was - I can admit that now, or a few stone overweight then literally all you have to do is change your diet as I have and walk a few miles a week.

But as always consult doctor first as I'm just a freak of nature and aint seen one in 12 years, almost twice as long with dentist, no wonder my teeth are having problems, I'll be going dentist soon though. The other good thing is, indirectly / directly others have started exercising, losing weight and stopped smoking, I'm the modern day Jesus of health - I just wish I was getting paid for it, what did you think he had hidden in the cave before he done a runner?
