How about having a sub-forum, where members can advertise their services?
Miscellaneous stuff.

I can imagine you deleting all those spam registrations at first and then setting up some more recaptcha's in the offer my services forum, and then deleting about 30 spam threads a day from there....LOL

I think this will definitely reduce the problem to a great extent!
