Improve Acorn Acorn AI now supports ChatGPT sign-in

We are pleased to introduce OpenAI OAuth integration for Acorn AI.​

You can now connect your free or paid ChatGPT account to AcornDomains and use Acorn AI across the forum at no additional cost from AcornDomains.

Instead of creating and managing an OpenAI API key, you can sign in with your existing ChatGPT account through the Acorn AI Hub.

Use Acorn AI while posting​

Once connected, enter:

/codex

inside the forum editor to invoke Acorn AI and get assistance directly while writing your post.

Browser extension required​

The connection requires the DNAI OAuth Relay browser extension.

The extension securely redirects the OpenAI sign-in callback back to the AcornDomains session that initiated it. It only responds to a matching Acorn AI OAuth flow and ignores unrelated localhost authentication requests.

How to connect​

1. Install the DNAI OAuth Relay extension.
2. Open the Acorn AI Hub.
3. Choose the OpenAI OAuth connection option.
4. Sign in with your ChatGPT account.
5. Start using /codex in the forum editor.
