Anyone care to recommend a script for setting up satchel bags which I caught today? 18k exact searches on the main kw alone, so figure it might be possible to go AdWords on it.

If I was you save your time and don't bother.

If it has any duplicate text it won't rank, especially on a new domain name. I've seen an affiliate site that someone spent ££ on recently bomb to the bottom of the earth. Google just hates them.

Do something "fresh" with it, and not affiliate based.

The problem is people make an affiliate sites with a little content, you want a content site with a little affiliate.

Adwords as in paying to be displayed on the first page of google and hoping (because of tests people like edwin have done http://www.memorabledomains.co.uk/ppc-generic-domains.html) the domain name helps with click through is what I was thinking.

It the context it was in I'm also guessing the OP meant Adsense, rather than Adwords.

I'm getting my knickers in a twist here, and I always get adwords and adsense mixed up for some reason.

Price tapestry was the best I used but its not cheap. Could also try datafeedr slightly different payment model.
As others have said unless you rewrite the content google won't consider ranking your site.
This niche might be small enough to make that feasible.

Not sure if satchels apply in that category, but Amazon currently have a flat 9% comm on "clothing".

It's set-up like a real store with shopping cart and then the checkout redirects to Amazon cart (the reason I went for this is that then Amazon gives a 90 day cookie on that product).
