As mentioned elsewhere on this site (which I've requested be removed), I picked up agadoo.co.uk last week as it was free to register.

Since then, I've picked up a few emails containing credit card information and contacted the person in question who happens to be the previous registrant. I warned them not to share such information via email.

They've replied saying thanks and asking if they can have their domain back. They're going to contact their ISP and Nominet to see what happened to it. She mentioned that she has had the domain a few years and was registered to her company "Agadoo Limited".

I've checked with Caompanies House and whilst the company does exist, it currently has a status of "Active - Proposal to Strike off"

Any advice on how I should proceed with this?

There's also a TM issue regarding the word "Agadoo", but this is with Blace Lace themselves!!

Bounce all the email for a start and just setup a new one thats not been used.
