I think it's spelt with a "K" mate, as in kerbed.

Although not a grammar king so don't take my word for it.

I wasn't too sure either as both the K and C variations seem to be used, although a local Google search for curbed wheels seems to bring up more results than kerbed wheels, and searching for "kerbed wheels" also brings up "did you mean curbed wheels?"
