Anyone doing apps?

I published a few Android apps last month and quite enjoyed it as a change from WordPress affiliate and ecom sites I have been doing last few years!

One nice aspect compared with domaining / websites - no domains or hosting costs

Anyone else done some apps?
I pumped a load of dosh into (Google) install campaigns, so have a lot of data on CPI rates etc if interesting for anyone?

Hi Dee,

Yes, Google Admob is something like Google AdSense in the sense it's all programmatic (i.e hands free monetisation but of course they get their cut).

There is a rule of thumb (generalisation) that iOS consumers will pay for apps, Android users won't...hence the monetisation has to come via ads.

Is is straightforward? Are you a programmer or do you use an IDE/ app builder ?

I personally used codecanyon where you can buy "off the shelf" apps.
