Anyone use Yahoo Messenger on iPhone?

I'm using this with great success, but when I go to a Yahoo voice call from the app during a chat, I can't get back to the text chat part of the app. I'm speaking to someone who doesn't speak English too well, and sometimes I need to be able to type a word. Seems like no can do. Anyone?

In fact, today I had to reboot the iPhone just to hang up the damn call.

Fair point mate. I do have to say that I haven't had to fire up the laptop in my bedroom since I've been using iPhone 4. Things have moved on a bit since the 2610

i also do so much on my desire hd now, i gave my netbook to my daughter

Haven used yahoo in a while could skype be an alternative for you my brother uses it a lot on the iphone dosent cause him any trouble

Thanks! Skype works very well but my party has no access to it, plus the video isn't as good anyway.
