Wanted: Domain Appraisal Appraisal digital.co.uk

Hi guys,

I've noticed this domain is up for sale on sedo. Spoke to the seller, he said it has been valued at £80,000.

What do you guys feel this domain would be worth in today's market? I'm interested in it myself, but by no means at that value.

You have to bear in mind that any right-minded buyer will have to justify this to a business plan. So any extra money spent on this domain rather than something like billy-bobs-digital-store.co.uk has to be regained.

The beauty of single-word domains should be natural direct traffic, consider how many people would type digital.co.uk in a browser.

That said as it domain it carries credibility (people would expect this to be worth more than it is). It is also memorable (however so sillylittlehorse.com and that's not taken).

If I owned this, I would list for £10-20k, and expect to be waiting for some time.
