Hi, I'm new to this and would like a few pointers. Nothing like spending money to make you learn fast!
Can anyone give me some advice on any of the following domains? I'm gathering that hyphens and numbers are not too desireable.
The domains include:
EthicalRags.com / .co.uk
Gr8Big.com / .co.uk
Deal-em.com / .co.uk
Deal-Them.com / .co.uk
Bourne2.com / .co.uk
U-Collect.com / .co.uk
Web7FX.com / .co.uk
YouList.co.uk
MyWebList.co.uk
ICollect4U.co.uk
NationalCollection.co.uk
They mostly point to a first stab domain affiliate page. I also set up an ipod shuffle affiliate page and sent 100 clicks from adwords. Totally unsuccesful experiment. Cost £0.23 per visitor on average. 35% of visitors bookmarked the page. Generated 70 clicks to affiliates but absolutely no one bought anything!. I could argue that 100 clicks is too small a test, but the affiliate payout for sales would need to be much bigger to warrant 23p per visitor.
