What sort of traffic/revenue does it get?
That aside, I've just asked my horse chums about this... The problem with livery yards is that there are many many small ones throughout the country and no major national chains. So it's unlikely that a big player in the industry is going to pay top whack for the generic because, as far as I know, there isn't really a big player to speak of.
Please let us know the outcome though as I have a livery domain name too

It doesn't get hardly any traffic, just the odd type in thats all. I know what you mean about livery yards, there are loads of independent ones around. Perhaps developing is the way forward instead.
I'll let you know how I get on with this.
