Any thoughts?

I also have poker-uk.net, I presume this would be worth slightly less? Or alot less?

thanks,

- Kev

poker is quite a popular topic currently you might get some interest but there are a huge number of poker domains around

straight from sedo:
pokeruk.org.uk Make Offer - 3
poker-uk.org.uk Make Offer - -
partypokeruk.co.uk Make Offer - 1
poker-uk.info 299 $US

personally not a fan of domains with "UK" in the body - and knowing nothing about .nets you'll have to ask someone else

ukpoker.co.uk Make Offer 12 200

12 offers on ukpoker - which is a good sign for you? but this site gets traffic

Hi Charlie,

I've already seen the poker-related names on sedo. I was considering parking pokeruk.net there. Is it worth doing? By parking it there, am I committed to selling it or can I remove it if I don't get the offers I'm looking for?

I've already had a valuation from impressivedomains.com, I was just interested in a second opinion from you guys.

I think it's OK to have uk in the body, but not when you already have uk at the end!

cheers,

- Kev

If you paid for a valuation, learn from your mistake...they're generally scams and overvalue most domains.

Also, if you put the domain on Sedo and price it at "Make Offer" you dont have to accept any offer thats not acceptable to you. Problem is most domains are set at "make offer" and people buying names prefer to see a price.

As for the domain, I would say maybe £50-£100 undeveloped. You could get more from an end user but the general reasons for this are:

You will get a bit of interest on Sedo. I have a poker name (.net) on there which gets no traffic and yet it gets a lot of views on Sedo itself, which I'm guessing is simply down to it being a poker name.

Good luck with it,

J.
