I'm pretty sure most of us could write a book about what works for us as individuals - But, the key as in any sales scenario is to play to strengths - Hopefully, that will be the domain as a stand alone. As much as development is a key for some it's actually a no,no for anyone wanting to show 'availability' without pushing it as available

It's impossible to give a fits all answer and nothing wrong with experimenting. What can work for one domains profile is an absolute killer to another.

I've never listed or advertised a domain for sale, yet been very fortunate - sometimes just getting it on boards is enough, domaining continues to be good logic (for those with acumen) and wishful thinking for so many others.
I've never envied anyone that chooses to impliment a blanket model for their portfolio, soo much lost comes to mind
