As part of making the internet safer and more secure, we’re pleased to be supporting the launch today of a new initiative to help consumers and small businesses stay safe online.
The Cyber Streetwise campaign encourages people to protect themselves by using stronger passwords, anti-virus software, checking privacy settings and making sure that any online shopping sites they use are secure.
The new site, www.cyberstreetwise.com offers some good tips and advice to help users enjoy a safe experience online.
Another way of protecting yourself online is by using our free online tools which cover everything from avoiding scams to staying legal. They’re a great for learning more about the risks in a safe and easy to use way.
