Any plans for any well deserved breaks by any of you here ?

We have forfeited our holiday abroad this year as we are getting a dog in may, and it wouldn't be fair to put a young dog in the kennels for a week.

So does anyone else have anything planned ?

No, nothing planned, last time I had a holiday, it was to Carmarthen bay in 1980, not been anywhere since then, I don't really see the point in holidays.

it sounds as though you need a holiday! ;)

No wonder you don't seen the point in a holiday if the last the time you went was in 1980 and to carmarthen bay lol - ironically, that is only 20 mins away from where I live and you need to experience somewhere else, as it is not exactly a desirable place to holiday lol

Hoping to go to Barcelona which is one of my favourite citys'and take the kids to Port a ventura and go back on Dragon Khan ( big roller coaster ) :)

My wife's currently in Malaysia on a break (family obligations in her home country). I couldn't go this time, although it's been 2 years plus. Gonna get my arse down to Plymouth > Santander on the Hayabusa for a week or so when she gets back on the 21st April.

4 days in KL already sorted. Looking at Langkawi perhaps for 10 days, or somewhere similar. Have done Penang so dont want to go back there again.
Langkawi can be a little boring after a couple of days. Once you've done the crocodiles; duty free, Hilton hotel and beach sports (nearly killed myself on a jet ski) there's not much left. Penang is the best place to be. Try Tanjung Bungah and follow the road through to the 'end of the world' fish restauarant in Tanjung Tokong. KL is a bore really. Penang is the finest place -- get to Gurney Drive in Penang and follow the road north around the island. That will give you a fantastic ten days. Ohh and don't forget to eat plenty of Durian. If you like shopping, the Komtar in Penang represents all the best of Malaysia that retail has to offer under one roof.

Have Eurodisney and Majorca booked.

My thing is city breaks, will prob do 5 or 6 european city breaks this year. Whats global warming?

caister for me and the family...great yarmouth...lol

we have never been out of this country as i wont fly, so am just waiting to get the campervan before i visit other countries

Try cycling up Penang Hill :) That's an international challenge and I think it's what you're referring to. There are no hills in Battu Ferringhi like that. The one I'm talking about starts with the wild monkeys on the road in the heart of Penang.

I spent about an hour (many times) on a Honda 60cc going up it to help my mate (professional cyclist) on a bicycle get over the iron grids because his tyres would skid. Know every inch of it :) Remember the cafe the the top? He used to come DOWN like a lunatic. Death wish.

Off to Florida on May 1st with a lady friend, Disney hotel and unlimited Disney passes.

Looking forward to it, but worrying a bit about not having the business contact :D How can you relax?? :D
