auDA in new domain stoush - Australian IT

Yeah the domain regulation here in Australia is very weird.

Years ago you could not register many generic domains, there was this massive list of "untouchables" that were automatically rejected.

Then AUDA changed the rules and held a massive generics auction, highest seller was flowers.com.au for over $100k

There is no domain aftermarket here, because it's illegal to sell or transfer your .AU domain name to anyone else (well there are a few exceptions, e.g death of the owner, trademark dispute, selling an entire company).

Does anyone know of any other countries that prohibit sales/transfers of domain names in their country?
