Personally I don't register this type of domain any more. This is because any tech company developing a product will usually come up with a unique brand name. This has the advantage of being distinct.
I don't really see an easy sale for these names, particularly when they contain "AVR" which is unlikely to become a popular acronym.
That is my opinion, but feel free to give yours.

I agree with you about technical product, but my domains are about technology, not about product...I think)
