Really?... I mean did I just spend 80 minutes of my life watching that? I have yet to see one 'wow' team in this tournament.

OZ played like we should of tbh, but we didnt appear to be up for it, out muscled, out thought, out of the group!

Historically good teams get stronger throughout the tourny, lesser nations get tired!

Issue i see these days is there is too much rugby at the top table and its refreshing to see tier 2/3 nations raise their game as expected in a world cup.

England didn't look fit enough - Aus were straight on us as soon as we had possession. And it doesn't help when we were trying to run everything from deep in our own half, wearing ourselves out.

I agree, no team has looked outstanding.

We were out the cup when we lost to Wales. Something that should never have happened.

Hopes were pinned on people to be great, but that won't happen for another year or two at least. Jason Robinson wasn't great in his first season of Union.

Yes there have been bad calls, by both the team and the coaches, but I do agree that there should be no knee jerk reaction. Just look back to when to Lancaster took over, and what he had to work with......

mostly I'm reminded of the first years of Clive Woodward being in charge - I think it was 2 - 3 years before we actually won the thing we went to Australia and got comprehensively taken apart by an average Wallabies, a score of 50+ - 0 seems to stick in my mind.

the Aus and Welsh teams we lost to are very decent, make no mistake, but yeah, everything about what we have done says "team being built".

but world cups are not about building teams for future cup cycles, they are about playing the best team you can put together for THAT tourney, building is a b$lls1t excuse tbh.

English teams of late look they have the rugby coached out of them if i'm frank, no spontaneity, no playing what is served up front of you, no game plan
