I am trying to set up my baby charity based on a disease my 5 year old was born with at birth called group b streptococcus.
Some babies can get infected during the actual birth, this can be prevented in most cases with the use of anti-biotics during labour but unlike America the UK don't test for this.
My plan is to get a petition going, preferbly a Downing street petition and get this changed for good.
Several babies a year could live instead of dying if this screening was implicated.
Anyway, I put this site together Savelives.org.uk please take a look and if anyone can advise me on how to set up a donation button ?
The donations to begin with will go towards promotional material, my plan at the moment is to buy some of them logo bugs and ask libraries and internet cafes to stick one on to their computer screens. maybe this will work ?
Also if anyone can please add a non recipticol link to their websites that would be appreciated.
I have no links coming from the site and in no way will I earn any profit for myself, this is a personal aim of mine having unfortunately experienced it first hand
Many thanks Andy
