If you are wanting links to be of value in search engines then this is of no use whatsoever.
The links given are in the form of http://www.1inks.co.uk/dir/out.php?ID=14 rather than a straight link such as http://www.geneologists.co.uk

Well Spotted, looks like a bug in the "FEATURED SITE" option

Steve its not a "bug" its the way that the program works and applies to all categories not just "featured"
Anyone linking to you would not get any benefit whilst you would benefit from their link.
Not very fair is it?

Confused

Just using the acorn backlink checker on one of my domains and it lists an incoming link from linkcentre
"http://linkcentre.com/internet/web_promotion/5.php"
are you saying this has no value

The links centre is giving a straight link back so could be of some value if it was not a "link farm"
http://www.1inks.co.uk gives a link in the form of http://www.1inks.co.uk/dir/out.php?ID=14 which is not a STRAIGHT LINK BACK so no value whatsoever.
