I am considering selling my website:

BalanceTransferReminder.com

It makes about $200 per month through adsense...

It also has a fully built in affiliate system (PPC) that I have suspended at the moment as it takes a bit of time to administer and I don't have the time.

The site ranks well in google.com but not so well in .co.uk and if you had the time to optimise the UK traffic it would make more.

also included would be .co.uk /.net and all code, logo etc.

I bought www.musiclessonsonline.co.uk off you about a year ago and it's doing brilliantly. Why are you selling balancetransferreminder? It always struck me as a great idea. I have about 160 sites at the moment running adsense so don't have the time to work with another set of code etc.

I have a baby arriving (probably this week) and bugaboo prams are not cheap!

I am also moving to Australia at Xmas and there just aren't enough hours in the day to administer this and work on my other projects for Australia....

It has a Google PR of 3 (should be 4 soon) and ranks well for many searches including 1st page on google.com for "credit card balance transfer"

The site has potential as the financial clicks are high value and any buyer should add Google Referrals 2.0 to the site.

As you can see the main keywords often show up on the 1st page google.com! google.co.uk is not as good but the .co.uk domain is included so it would be easy enough to start a UK specific site.....

This site already makes proven revenue and given some time and UK specific SEO IMHO could make $1000+ per month...

How many sign ups a day do you receive on average, and how many sign ups have you received in total?

to be honest there are only a handful of signups for the service. It was really a gimic used to promote the site.

The search engines link the site and if you had the time to put say 1-2 new articles on per day in a year you would have 15x the content and hopefully much more revenue....

Not sure why it has dropped off.... but should come back.

BIN reduced to £1500 + VAT (£1762.5) for quick sale.

can you give screen shots. Perhaps cost of advertising and revenues.

can you give as many months as possible..would like to get an average. bassed on an average of what you've given and converting to sterling with no other costs (hosting etc) you valuation is 27 times net profit. For a valuation like that i'd need more info

I won't put up screen shots as I am sure that breaks the adsense T&C and anyway they are no more reliable than me quoting the figures:

As you can see July was a bumper month with revenue of £141, this was probably due to the affiliate programme that I was running and the increase in traffic that this brought.

I also set up the affiliate programme so that aff links carry PR. This really helped the google ranking.....

However this is not a get rich scheme. Administering the affiliate programme is not difficult but takes time. Say 1hr per day emailing and checking affiliate activity. I don't have time to do it so I closed it.

I have never done any paid marketing on the site (except a few directories when I started out).

Hosting is as cheap as you like... you need perl, linux and apache... (Standard host)
