do a google for "before"

this could be a great website.....get it

before.ws

this could be really huge for someone to develop...could be a capsule of 20 years before internet or websites////

neat

please give thoughts

Another way of seeing it...

Do an Overture search. Not much with the word "before" in it is being searched that is developable and/or not TMed.

Your enthusiasm is nice, but you might be disappointed in the value considering developability and extension:

24972 nightmare before christmas
13838 before boldly captain cook going gone has where
13114 land before time
8673 before after
4888 pearls before swine
4428 1491 new revelation of the america before columbus
4021 ancestor before dawn history lost our recovering
3933 before belief breakfast evolutionary impossible origin six things
3858 the nightmare before christmas original motion picture soundtrack
etc.

appreciate your response

do a google for the word "before"

you mean to tell me a keyword with 1.5 billion records doesnt have decent value.

1.5 billion records on google. It also has an ext which could be used for extra value beforewebsites

i have never had a keyword with 1.5 billion hits, have you?

thanks again

just regged it so i cant tell

will know more as time goes by obviously

what do you think of it?

thanks

My appraisal

Please don't get defensive. Of course the word before shows up a lot - its a common word in the language. However, no one has figured out a use for the top three TLDs - they are either parked or nonexistant. That might be a sign that they are not as useable as you might think in terms of products, services, etc.

The .com only gets about 25 clicks/day, and I'm guessing it gets very little income per click.

And the extension - even a highly business-friendly, high-traffic potential name like pizzas.ws only got $20 on 1/4/07

If you develop it yourself and build traffic its a totally different story.

if you look close at the register and do some research you will see that the .com is owned by a LLC, in which i assume is an investment of some kind.

secondly pizzas on google comes out with 10 million hits on google for that keyword..

i mean we are talking about 1.5 billion records for the keyword before.

i appreciate your response but the return for pizzas of 9 million is very far from 1.5 billion.

thanks for the input

any other thoughts out there?

Its not worth anything.. you can tart it up, but your best off putting some flowers on the top and put it to rest.

when i sell it i will contact you

are you telling me that for 8 usd you right now would not register a domain that has a keyword with 1.5 billion hits?

just what i thought

when i sell it i will contact you

I love how many times that has been said on these boards...and nobody ever gets contacted...

JPF, you don't have to believe my appraisal, but 'nuke knows what he is doing around here. I would trust his judgement. That said, I hope you get $1,000,000 for it. Best of luck.

yea

i am not expecting that kind of money at all

i do however take issue with someone saying zero or worthless.

that would be the same as saying lxibeapvmc.co.uk and register it.........same value as before.ws

i mean come on.

appreciate your comments

have a good one

You've asked for an appraisals but you only want to hear what you've told yourself. Personally I would not reg any .ws domain but I hope you do sell it and I dont see why not, when did somthing have to be good to sell? I know folks that could sell ice cubes to an Eskimo ;)

When you can make a good living trading in domains drop me an email :p

appreciate your response.

i know its worth something so i guess thats what matters

i agree .ws is not the .com but with the hits i couldnt resist.

thanks

...are you telling me that for 8 usd you right now would not register a domain that has a keyword with 1.5 billion hits?

Don't make the mistake of assuming that because there are 1.5 billion results when searching for a word, that people are actually seaching for it.

A basic indication that is is not as good as you might think is that (at the time of my search) there is only 1 adword advert:

Before
Fantastic low prices on disneyana
Feed your passion on eBay.co.uk
www .ebay.co.uk

Even pizzas gets 2:

Dominos Pizza Online
Choose from our delicious range now
Pre-order or delivered to your door
www .dominos.co.uk

Pizzas
Are you the next Delia Smith?
Find top recipes with Ask.com
www .ask.com

That said, good luck with selling it.

this domain is awesome

if i or somone were to develop it would be huge

Before Websites (think of the crazy possiblities)

Great keyword with huge upside potential

love it

thanks

There is no room for reality in his thinking...

...so let's leave him be.

i love the name

yes i agree the ws is not .com, but with that being said it is still a nice keyword which has double meaning as websites.

before websites Cant you picture and website that is nistalgic and tells the process of internets and web info......... Then ads could be run to have revenue or content

i also own
pornoclip.us
insidenews.us
wirefunds.info
wirefunds.co.uk
conflicting.us
oses.org
cards.tc
calmly.org

any thoughts on development on these....

thanks
