Best domain auction websites

If your selling .uk domains, you probably won't get a better auction platform than DomainLore for the most exposure.

Just watching the second name I've put on there about to go without a bid (Expertly.co.uk). Would have thought it was worth £50 minimum to someone!

I'm afraid if you look around at all the various selling platforms (including threads on here), sales are pretty tough across the board.

Stuff I could sell by auction on domainlore 18 months ago for xxx wouldn't receive a bid at the moment.

What domain auction sites do people think are any good?

I sold a few recently via Domain Lore and Sedo.

The Sedo ones were without any promo - just listing them there at a fixed price got results.

Domain Lore is hit or miss. There is a registration fee so it's just a numbers game. Sales cover the cost of the ones that don't get bids.

I also got results for .com and .org by emailing potential buyers and linking them to Go Daddy - also listing my site for sale while creating content and building links to it (this helps to create page rank and increases it's value)

Can't claim to be a guru in domain sales compared to others on this forum but fixed price, contacting end users, building sites and generating traffic/page rank for the domain - those have worked for me in the past.
