I have control of 9 usedfranchise domains most with a greater market share than your two, and they hardly get any traffic and even at dizzy heights in serps the ctr is poor. But I would go to £30 each should you ever reconsider.

Say for instance. UsedFiat

Fiat allow it's franchised dealers to have multiple websites and allow the use of the word fiat in it.

So why can't a middlewoman buy these and sell to an authorised 3 rd party?

If you buy a domain just to hold until you realise a price why is that bad.

There are procedures in place for anyone with tm issues to follow through nominet.

So why can't this be a domain on the open Market for the few hundred fiat dealerships in the uk? They can all use it so why can't someone sell it?

I also disagree with the LTD domains incase someone owns that ltd company name.

I can see why the aviva/hbos could be an issue but a car dealer may wish to purchase the car domains...

The fact remains (as per the volvo spares case) that unless YOU are a dealer, then the domain can just be seized from you. Caz, its your decision but if they want it, they can seize it, easily.

All of the ones Ashton mentioned basically, plus imho the xxxltd.co.uk's - Most of them are trading companies I would expect and they're worthless to anyone other than the limited company anyhow.
