Thanks for the update pred. It certainly wouldn't be the biggests surprise in the world to eventually have one of the big guys go after this one. The auction is certainly warming up nicely. Lots of bidders, lots of views.

I went to £2700 but thats me out :-) Not sure what i'd do with it, just thought it would be nice to add to my domain collection.

Good luck to the winner.

Disappointing price from seller's perspective in my opinion

Yeah, I agree, if it's true that it went to over 4k on acorn auctions previously. I think it was harmed slightly by the shorter auction time, due to it being a 'gem' when it really shouldn't have been. It's still a good sale in terms of .org.uk but certainly not best case scenario territory.

Congrats to webzooma.

What are the highest ever .org.uk sales so far?
I think toys.org.uk was sold here on acorn for just under 5k.

Edit : Found this thread highest .org.uk sales

My question too, also what kind of .org.uk are in the same level for a sale price like that?

Tables.org.uk ?
Gardening.org.uk ?

Poker.org.uk went for 25k on Sedo last month I believe.

Webzooma is my handle. Quite pleased with the price obviously, though wasn't far off my max bid.

Wasn't far out with my £3,500 estimate :)

Yep, it did previously go up to £4,000 on Acorn (see here)

Poker.org.uk & Sledges.org.uk were both developed/ranking websites...

poker.org.uk sold for 25k didn't it? Admittedly that was largely due to it's decent position in google, though that was partly because of the domain itself of course.
