Attended a good new Breakfast meetup this morning (fry up, coffee, juice etc) at silly o'clock and met Hullkr (Russ) out the blue from off here.

Bit of a suprised but it's a small world and all that.

Got me thinking, anyone within say 40-50+ mile of Hull, Beverley, Grimsby, Goole, Scunthorpe, Doncaster that wouldn't mind a meetup of some kind sometime shout! See what towns closest for all then.

What sort of people turned up to your breakfast.

Did the organiser have a schedule and one persons service they were pushing, or was it just very informal and you are left to eat breakfast?

I always imagined them to be lots of people just sitting around saying how good the bacon was but not getting any contacts.

Were there many women there?

LOL it was a networking Breakfast meetup of many types of business and would say 50% male 50% female.

Dropinforbusiness.org.uk

It gets you out of bed at 6am to get there for around 6:45am chat with people for 15 20 minutes then quick fire round of 1 minute stand up saying what you do and what you want in work terms.

Then you have a 1 on 1 for 10 -15 minutes with a different person every week.

Pass referals round from the 7 days gone by if you have any.

And then a hearty Breakyfast, coffee, tea, orange etc finish around 9:30am

Also i'll say it's just £10 a go and that includes drinks and breaky. Other networking groups would charge £500 £600+ a year on top!

Hmm thank you Tricky :D

Our 3 girls have some monster photos to show you, and your looking like one of them just now lol

As for the meetings, that format sounds great.

Sorry Caz, not normally a chauvinist but it did make me chuckle, I know you can take a joke.

Look forward to seeing my monster...

Sounds like what the BNI do, very good for contacts actually, and great leads for B2B

Less stuffy and strict than BNI ;) - The thing that does it for me is not having to pay £600+ to a fat cat for the privilege!
