but the domain you mention has only just been registered it has no traffic, how can you value the domain on that basis? no traffic, no signup nothing just a name

I can well believe that you have had a lot of interest in Britisheconomy. I have registered a number of geographical domains - eg British, Scottish etc. and I have had 4 sales at £1500 plus each - and a huge number of enquiries.
Even without a site you have a good asset.
