I signed up for a one of the affiliate programmes on friday night. It is pending. Does it need to be manualy accepted?

I guess because its the weekend thats why its still pending but im starting to worry that it wont get accepted.

I basicly want to direct a domain name to one of their sites. Is it against the rules to do this? Do I need a site? At the moment its just parked doing nothing at the registrar.

Thanks,

Mat

Some are auto accept, others are assesed by the merchant or the buy at agent for the merchant. You will need a valid site though, parking page won't suffice.

Thanks,

Are you saying then that I cant simply redirect a domain name to one of the product pages with my affiliate link.

This is the only way it would work for me really... and it would work very well.

Maybe I shall ring them tomorrow and explain the situation...

I'm no expert but I believe they will only accept your application after checking your site out. I know that as a couple of time i've been turned down as I hadn't added the appropriate site to my profile. I went back to them with the site url and they accepted me.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for not seeing this post earlier. Mat of our UK programs are manually approved by either the account manager or the client. They’re normally approved in 2-3 days after you’ve applied.

Cheers
Tyson
