Hi Sean, as per the private message you sent after posting this publicly I’m not sure why you’ve brought my TAG into things and not sure why I need to justify myself to you or anyone else.
I’ve been a memeber here and on the affiliate forums since 2008/2009 when I first got involved in domain names.
Last year I decided to get a TAG as I was looking to consolidate my domain names and reduce costs.
I also took the decision to diversify my contractor income by renting a private catching script that I load names into from time to time.
I’m busy with a full time contract, running a local news website for our town and have a young family.
I therefore focus my time as and where is appropriate. Names I catch are discussed with people in my network or auctioned as I see fit.
I’ve done many deals on and off acorn, direct to end clients and domainer to domainer. I have an extensive LinkedIn network, both for contracting and for domain name contacts.

It was you that engaged me publicly rather than privately but I'm all for a public discussion because this affects every TAG holder.
As for your assertion that I have an agenda. You're right, a person that you catch domains for is a cheat who sent me and Tony Brown a threatening e-mail this week, warning us off.
My post didn't demand immediate attention so I presume the line about your sons birthday party is an attempt to portray me as the villain and you the victim?

It was you that brought my TAG and me into this publicly before you sent me a private message. Therefore for the sake of my reputation I have no option but to respond publicly to your accusations.
Then why not engage directly with Nominet or the other party instead of slinging my TAG into the mix? My TAG is my TAG. I catch what I choose to load in, same as any other catcher.
I’ve got 2 live auctions running and I feel I’m forced to defend my actions to protect the integrity of them.

Admin you might want to lock this thread to stop accusations being thrown. Nominet are in possession of all information I could give them and they're supposedly looking into it to find out if any is relevant. Public conjecture is pointless.

Threatening violence or legal?
There were no accusations, you chose to defend yourself when nothing had been levelled at you. I'd already qualified that I was in no way suggesting you were cheating and for the record I don't believe that you are but you are using a script that takes advantage of an exploit, you're catching names for someone that is a cheat and is one of the few people that know about the exploit and you're now being very evasive.
Nominet are engaged.
If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to defend just be honest rather than saying you rent a private script and catch for your own network.
