This is a non-starter for me, I just can't see where the money will come from? There are no adword ads for "cheese sauce", so you'd be relying on affiliate income - no idea from what.
Niche yes & whilst it won't enable you early retirement :-| you could get your reg fee back (& more) via some aff (amazon (recipe) books and/or cooking utensils etc) & ad rev if you put up a simple site with the recipe & method. I have several similar foody doms that 'tick along' nicely.
It could be used as a brandable for some marketing/digital/creative agency in London or elsewhere in the country. Soup.co.uk, tothepoint.co.uk, firedog.co.uk and thinmartian.com are just examples of the random, abstract names London agencies use to brand themselves. So forget an affiliate site, market it to agencies. You could easily get at least mid £xxx if the right company comes along.

I can just imagine a bunch of fashion victims in Hoxton sat around a cafe table -sipping lattes and iced frappes, amongst their fixed gear bicycles, discussing the new name for a company -
Hey guys - How about "cheesesauce"
