yeah, saw this earler
tbh i think it looks hideous
just looks like some mass produced rubbish lol

imagine the guy who holds it up the front, bet he was crapping himself thinking he would drop. what if he fainted when it got to 50 million :o
bet insurers would wriggle out

also when people pay this amount, what if another was found next year, and another the year after.
how can just a vase ever be worth more? its nasty too :D

I think this vase is a rarity and apparently it is in perfect condition - 200 years along.

From and anglo-saxon point of view, it may not look much, but for a chinese collector, they saw something very different.

Lucky brother & sister inheriting that!

Reg fee if ever I seen it, hope someone doesn't let it drop on renewal.

woow .... auctioneer seemed more stunned then the owners he just made 8 million !!!!!

i think i'll be going home to check out the loft ... shed ... i'm sure i got one of them somewhere !!!! lol !!!!

so lucky the valuers were honest
some fly by nights may have said, its a very nice piece we would look to buy from you for £100k even, or less and most people would have bitten arm off for a poxy vase
then they go auction
a real fairytale

send masspay and pay $1 commission :D

nice chunk of money coming in to this country for a change!

What are you talking about? that figure comes in every day from Nigeria and never makes the news. :D

Hah, 20% is a pretty nice chunk for the auction house all the same!

Just one of many assets bought by the Chinese so they're not too cash heavy for when the US$ is collapsed to make way for the new proposed North American currency, the Amero

Wow, I love yard sales and estate sales for this reason.. Never know.

Ya what was he thinking touching that thing after the auction? Is this some kind of record for a vase? What's it mean for the domain vase.com or vase.co.uk?? ;)
