You can check the relative value of .org.uk's at domainprices.co.uk.
The quick answer is they are often worth regging, but would normally only have a fraction of the value of the .co.uk. However, they are suited to affiliate sites, for example I have:
Mens Shirts
Mens Suit
Raincoats
Which means they are of interest to affiliates and therefore have some value.

If you can regg one and make your reg fee back from a mini site within 3 months then yeah.
Recent ones I've snapped up either free to reg or bought from guy's on here.
Sat as a domain it's worth maybe xx (for the right one) put a mini site on it earning and ranked it can then be xxx - xxxx
So yes .org.uk's do have mileage for the right name and even more with a site. But goes without saying!
