Convincing somebody about the merits of a keyword rich domain

Am setting up a possible sale - just need to get the price pushed up a bit!

Has anybody got any links to articles giving useful (and reputable) arguments as to why keyword rich domains (e.g. musicdownloads.co.uk (not mine unfortunately)) are worth a bit. The obvious one being that it should be easier to get a prominent listing in Google and also being easy to remember.

Thanks
Stephen.

Few things to point out would be:

- If it's a generic term allows them to directly associate there company with a particular product or service.

- Would receive direct type in traffic as potential customers would expect to find a website live at that address

- Having a good domain name add's prestige to a company's image, and if a good generic can give the impression a company is larger than its actually is (e.g. someone with banking .co.uk could be working out of garden shed but that's not the impression the name gives.)

- If writing to them make them feel special by saying you are contacting them first as they are a respected company etc., point out at the end of the letter if they are not interested you will then approach their competitors with the name.

- I sometimes point out some recent high value (and maybe overpiced) domain sales to give them an impression they are getting a good deal with your very reasonable price.

Hope this helps

Mark.
