A good few years ago, for a while I was using some file copying software but I can't remember the name of it. What it did was:
Simply copied files from one folder / drive to another, every few minutes or hours (time specified by user) or while windows was preparing to shut down it would check the host folder for any changes and then copy the changed files to the target folder. It wouldn't take the time to replace all the files, just those that had had changes made.
Does anyone here use something similar? Regards.

I have Genie Timeline on my PCs if that's the kind of thing you mean. Like the Mac Time Machine.

Acronis is the king, and what your talking about is Incremental Backups :)
