Really looking forward to this.

Sometimes I get 5£ a click. I sure would prefer £10 or £20. Hence I have tried whypark.

D

See your point on 0.50 a site from the other thread...

Be nice to hear some figures when they are in...

Sure for some, the solution would be useful...

Google apparantly doubled their prices the other month... you wouldn't have noticed down here.

It's called capitalism my friend, it's very frustrating but it's the way of the modern world, i totally understand and agree with what you are saying, but to do anything about this would take unilateral action from all domainers involved in parking programs.

This would mean all pulling our names from parking programs and affiliate programs with the hope of getting a better deal, and i would bet my house that the guys making shed loads getting favourable ppc rates would not join in, why would they? why upset the apple cart.

You are right though what we need is more transparency, or more competition, a parking company that are not looking to cream it's members.

Parking is big business, and getting bigger i don't think it will be long before a company starts up that gives us a better deal then the rest will have to follow.

Hopefully.

Capitalism is doing us all over, the immigrants are earning out of it now though, that's why I'm going to live in their country while they're over here and benefit as well.

VERY INTERESTING:

Been looking into the Freedom Of Information Act and issues of PUBLIC interest and disclosure etc...

It would appear that where their is a 'public' interest in information that is 'said to be private' by a group or company, a request can be made to have non-disclsure overturned...

It would seem that all is required is:

Willingness to challenge and usual the 'litigation' processes...

Looks also like it's just a simple form submitted to the courts...

The one 'withholding the info - left to challenge!!!

Interestingly, it would be highly unlikely that it would/could fail...

ESPECIALLY if the 'public' group involved were seeking to understand / have data on matters that related to the 'groups' interests financially...

Food for thought - eh...:)

Who's got the balls?

Many parking companies really have nothing to hide, in fact the revenue share may shock you as it is so low...although naturally, revealing the revenue shares may not be the wisest move in terms of competition.

The oft-referred-to idea that those using parking companies do not see a fair reflection of PPC bid prices is a red herring. Parking companies use a different advertiser database / adbin from that of regular Adwords. You may note this when you sign up for an Adwords account.

Unfortunately the FOI Act only gives any person the legal right to ask for and be given any information which is held by a public authority. So parking companies would be exempt as far as I am aware.

Yes - true BUT initial research showing that 'in certain situations' leverage can be rought to bear combining Data Protection and other 'statues' to bear...

Some 'case law' example somewhere... Just got to remember where...

Still researching (in spare time...lol) but like I mentioned, looks interesting...

Certainly worth 'digging' deeper me thinks...:)

Judging by the number of domains parked on one companies servers (not sedo) I would say that their gross earnings share would be around about say £100-150,000 per month but if you were really really conservative you could say £50,000

What is a shame, looking at the constant posts from everyone, on the poor levels of CS experiences that folks are getting.

Trust is important in life.

It is hard to have such, when experiencing inefficent levels of service.

'Hiding in the shadows' can only ever nurture one thing to my mind.

Distrust.
