Bought Custom.co.uk (I believe) from the original registrant for a grand.

Probably one of those domains that's not specific enough which could either help or hinder it, could have a variety of uses, any comments on value & use appreciated. Which would be the best use for an affiliate market..bikes & cars?

Whilst I'm not sure whether it's the best way to go about selling stuff online, you could use it for a site focusing on high end custom installations. Recommend stuff through affiliate programmes, and perhaps have a directory of installers:

- Custom home cinema.

- Custom kitchens.

- Custom bathrooms.

- Custom furniture.

Otherwise, yes the car market for a community site. The computer modding market might also be good affiliate wise.

Maybe also:

- Custom phones. There has been a trend for customising phones, gold plating, adding jewels etc.

- Custom jewellery.

Custom stickers / decals / tshirts would be the way to go in my opinion, anything else custom eg bikes is too complicated to specify and purchase online whereas stickers or anything with a graphic can be uploaded to a site and purchased via the net.

Checking with G, gets about the same local searches as cars.
