Nominet DAC Blocking

Hi All,

Just wondering if I am the only one that has received continued on and off 'blocked' responses by the Nominet DAC even though I am sending requests at above the 400ms or 150 requests/min limit??? I have never had any problems before its only occured over the last couple of days.

To stop the block it requires a reconnection to the DAC which temporarily fixes the problem for 30 mins or so.

It seems that Nominet have yet more problems to resolve before the DAC is anywhere near satisfactory!

DAC Crash

I thought, that due to the dac faults experienced in my previous post, something may be up with the dac this week.

It has in fact just crashed and I think this may be due to an overload ie too many people now connecting to it. It appears this problem may be here for a few weeks yet given the speed things are corrected by Nominet dac support!

Anyone else having trouble?

I think there were a few crashes today, but have had no blocking issues...

Yeah I've had issues with blocking. They said they will resolve it soon with a new release of the DAC.

Thanks for that Raider, it's good to know it's not just my systems getting blocked!
