I've never heard of 49pence.com before. They do seem to have a very good reputation on the WebHostingTalk forum unlike some hosting companies. I like the fact that one of their staff is a forum member.
The AMD 64 Server £59/month dedicated server (link in previous post) is excellent value.
bb99, did you eventually move to a dedicated server, and if so what company did you use. The reason I ask this is that I'm currently looking to rent a dedicated server myself so if anyone has any recommendations, I will be most grateful.

Yes we did, and have now got two dedicated servers with 49pence.com. Both running very very well - no hardware problems, network uptime/speed is excellent.
Only had to deal with support once, which was about a day after we got the most recent server. We decided to upgrade to a proper hardware RAID card (a 3ware rather than the crap on board thing that Dell provided) and they handled all that for us very quickly.
The best place to go to get other quotes/reviews, in my opinion, is the Forum2 forum - www.forum2.co.uk - many of the dedicated providers (including 49pence) post special offers in there. The special offers could be both new deals and deals on "old" machines whereby the customer has upgraded.
