Maelstrom Games has gone under, taking quite a lot of customers' money with it

Seems to be the popular consensus from the internet after doing searches

Hopefully this wont lead to problems for the new owner.

I did a lot of reading last night and today before bidding on this, Maelstrom were happily paying off a debt at a good rate to a game company, when along came another game competitor and bought that debt of the other game company, they then gave them just 7 days to pay the full amount, obviously with only one thing in mind, to put them out of business and gain a share of that market.

The previous director of the company is also a director or Mierce Miniatures, you can find them in Google, their site links to their kick starter page here:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mierceminiatures/darklands-a-world-of-war

There must be a lot of money in the wargaming miniature business as they had a great round of funding and reached £108K, they also had 2 previous rounds on kick starter for other things and raised more than the one linked above on both occasions, it seems that people don't mind the old director also being a director at Mierce.

I've stuck the name on Sedo for now, may just redirect it at one of my sites.

The .uk is up for grabs if anyone wants the pair. It was caught in an early phase of testing dual catch on domainjunky and unwanted by my customer as we didn't get the pair.

Sorry Alex, I'll have to pass on the .uk mate, I only bid on the .co.uk because of the back links.

Are these miniatures like Warhammer and stuff ? I know guys who used to spend 8-10 hours per day playing these in Games Workshop. Spending hours per day painting and making landscaping. Used tp spend 100s on these little metal things.
