A lovely name, but I did wonder if the lack of .uk rights might affect the sale price.

Someone bought that from us and looks like they let it drop. Paid a lot more than what it sold for here. Two others in similar situation, never been used since purchased (still pointing to our servers) and buyers paid 5 figs each for them.

I wont name the domain but it sold for £xx,xxx (public sedo sale) and about 6 months later it dropped and was caught by someone here, the mind boggles.

The only good reason could be that the buyer has passed away since buying it, otherwise that is just pure lunacy to spend so much on a domain and not even keep it secure. I guess some people have more money than sense though.
