Domain catching script?

Keep an eye on the private catchers who are offering slots, as they are often still faster than public catchers.

A lot of this clearly didn't sink in. I sent off to become a nominet registrar recently. For some reason i thought i could get a tag and dac for just over £100. But after speaking to nominet on the phone today it would cost me nearer £600 like mentioned here. I have savings but no way am i going to pay this amount yet. I think you would probably have to be a domainor for 6 months and made some profit on public/private catches before you consider parting with this kind of money.

Its the Joining fee which kills you, but luckily its a one off payment.

It's £640 I think.

I also paid for a dropsystem hosted catching which I believe at the moment is £3000.

I've made that money back already in the first 3 months, only takes catching one nice domain.

So really in the big picture, the money I paid was nothing to the potential earnings.

I just managed to pass the nom assessment with 77%, i think that's what you call a close shave.
