If that's the case then it's far to easy, basically another Nominet member not taking your domains is based on trust ?

To add fuel to my current state of paranoia, this afternoon I received an email for a password reset request from Nominet .

That sort of thing is often an optimist trying to get in touch with you.

On a lot of systems, trying to log in to someone's account, then requesting a new password, will result in a message saying "a new password request has been sent to your email xxxx @ bloggs.co .uk" so they get the email you are currently using, not the spam absorber address listed on the site they want to buy.
