Domainlore is the whackiest interface I ever had to use.

Do you think DomainLore needs an update?

Really like an early 2000's website.

Are there any other auction sites in the uk?

Does it matter though? Does the job, for what it is.
Yes it matters. It is bug ridden, and hard to make changes when auction items have been submitted.
A horse and cart got the job done when you wanted to travel to another city in the old days. But this is about IT not archaic methods of transportation.

Why would you want to change your auction?
I didn't. I wanted to change the items I had added for auction ( not activated yet) but where they stated that the whois info wasn't showing that I had both the co.uk and .uk names.

In any case it's a really dated site.

You just need to delete them and re-submit. You need to change your whois information before Domainlore can validate your ownership; this would be the case whether the website is up to date or not.

Are you new to Domainlore, just out of interest?

I'd agree the look and feel needs an update, there may be non-reseller buyers driving by and being slightly put off etc.

Yes. But I am developer with 20 years experience. Worked on big sites in Sweden and have my own under development so I know what's under the bonnet there.

I thought I just said that the site wouldn't remove them despite me deleting them three times. When I tried to resubmit then it gave an error message stating that I could only have 5 sites. The list was back again.

I have now added public auctions at ukbackorder and thrown a 3 letter up to start it off. I'll make a separate thread. For now you can PM any questions so as not derail this thread any further.

If they are already active, you can't remove them, and as a new user you may be limited to 5 active auctions total. Just email them.

Where?
*edit Ah found it - you didn't send a PM you wrote on my profile. Click the little mail icon in top right of the screen and 'start conversation' to send a PM.
