I am trying to get my head around DomainLore, can i assume that most of the sales come from Dropcatching a domain and throwing it up for a quick flip?
These are my catches, all co.uk:
bestloanoffers
chickenpen
edgecreative SOLD
marqueehirecornwall
mobilephonesreviews
As a salesman i have experience finding endusers and approaching them directly. I am targeting domains i am confident i should/could find a buyer for, so i then look on DL and see some of the domains being sold and realise that i may well be missing some potential.
My question here is simply, do you use DL simply because it saves you a lot of time researching and marketing? After all you make a profit for no investment in your time (besides the catch) or do you market them first?
Another thing that interests me if you are a regular buyer on DL is; are you checking this site daily, do you first review Acorn for domains or another platform, or simply seeing a domain, feeling it has potential and bidding.
So i am looking for feedback from both the sellers who tend to sell more than buying, and from the buyers who use DL as a platform of choice.
