Donation to the Overture lists

What is the difference between the Overture names and the ordinary drops - can an old list be posted as I am wondering if it is worth donating to get access to these lists.

OV domains are names that appear in the OV search term suggestion tool located here:

http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/?term=&mkt=uk

Note the "mkt=UK" is for the UK market, if you leave this off you will get US results.

We post domain names that we find with an OV of 1 or higher. They are typically in the 1 to 10 range as generic (non Trade Mark) OV names higher than this are rarely available and any OV rated domain name is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

We also post OV links to names with spaces represented by a hyphen.

This does not mean however that people are typing in the hyphen when searching, it is more likely that they are typing in a space.

It will however give you an indication of what terms people are searching for with .co.uk in and is also an indication of traffic against such names.

We cannot guarantee any information provided in the lists as the search terms we post from OV could actually be being searched on the other way around, include or not a plural "s", include or not a hyphen.

This is all a limitation of the OV search term suggestion tool.

Names do not appear every day because as we said, any name with .co.uk in OV that is not a trade mark is becoming hard to find, this however is why we request a donation for you to see the ones we do find as it takes hours to track them down and if they have traffic then they are worthwhile names to have in your portfolio.
