It was announced yesterday that BT and TalkTalk have won their battle for a judicial review of the controversial Digital Economy Act designed to crackdown on music and video piracy. The law, which would force Internet Service Providers to police illegal file sharing and suspend the broadband connections of repeat offenders, was due to be implemented by Ofcom, the telecoms regulator, next year.
