I'm really asking if you believe the search volumes on this.

I was just faffing around trying to back up (clone) my hard drive and so had a look to see how many searches there were for this kind of malarky, and supposedly in the Uk its 40,500 per month & worldwide is 368K with a CPC of £6.40.

Thought I'd reg it (the org uk was the only one left) just in case??

Seems to be true

Over the last six months the search volume seems to have nearly doubled when compared to the six months previous.

It does seem a fairly high search volume, but sometimes it can be surprising.
I think your figures are correct but the average cpc may be closer to £5.00.
