Has anyone had any experience of this company, how successful are they, do they charge if they are not sucessful?

There is quite alot of discussion about this company on this forum, and they visit it periodically.

I suggest a search for dropcatcher*

Dropcatcher are OK if no one else wants that domain - IMHO they are not very good if the domain is a really good one. They even seem to have difficulty catching mediocre ones. I think the fact is that there are so many private catchers now they cannot compete with them. If you look at the caught domains list some catchers seem to go after anything at all.

Also when looking at the dropcatcher system and using their service to check domains that are booked, what's to stop a pro going in for the booked domain and picking up funds afterwards from the person who booked the domain?

Just an idea as to why dropcatcher might fail at even unworthy names. I'm not saying anyone is acting that low though... and would it be an unsavoury way to act? After all, the info is on offer to all.

Thanks for the replies. Where would the best place be to back order a domain?
