Hi,

Got domain name that a publication business has the .co.uk and .com for...

Now, they've got an active business on it and I have no idea of passing off on their publication

But the domain is completely generic and the exact string is not trademarked.

There's not much else I can do with the domain than almost the same thing they're doing.

Will they have a case against me?

For a DRS to be successful the complainant has to prove two things ...

1. A right to the domain
2. That the registration is abusive

Proving a right is relatively easy, proving that a registration is abusive less so, especially in the case of a generic word.

Rule #1: Be Respectful

Do not insult any other member. Be polite and do business. Thank you!
