Dont wish to go over ground already covered but would like to know in simple terms WHY Nominet have a DRS system ,i.e. what is the thinking and purpose behind having it . Im not looking for a historical overview but a "here and now" answer as it were, and if possible a short reasoning behind each point made for its existence ?. On other small related question. Does nominet not feel that it would be prudent to have the DRS handled by a wholly independent third party, much the same as I see that the .eu drs is , so that is does not have the appearance of a biased system ?.
